UPSTART - Terms and Conditions
By enrolling your child(s) into one of our classes you agree to the following terms.
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time and continued attendance after such amendments will constitute acceptance of the amended terms by you.
Fees
Term fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
The full term fee must be paid before the commencement of the class.
New students who enrol after Week 1 of the term will pay the pro-rata rate of the total fee.
No refunds are given for missed or cancelled classes for any reason.
Make-up classes
Make-up classes in the next term can be negotiated in the case of absence or cancellation due to emergencies.
A make-up class is limited to existing class times only and subject to availability.
Class Rules
Students should be dropped off/pickup within 5 minutes of starting and finishing times.
UPSTART is not responsible for the safety of students outside of class times.
Students are not permitted to use mobile phones during class time, and all phones should be switched to silent.
Students are required to bring aprons to wear during class time.
Art classes can get messy and so, you acknowledge that to the extent permitted by law, we cannot be responsible for any damage to your child’s attire or personal property from the use of these materials.
All materials are provided in classes however students may also bring their own materials.
We recommend that students do not bring any valuables to class. UPSTART cannot be held responsible for any personal property you or your child bring onto the premises, and we cannot be liable for any loss or damage to such property.
While we require that you inform UPSTART of any medical conditions or allergies your child has, we will not be responsible for the administration of any medicines your child needs throughout the class.
As the parent or guardian of a student, we request that you are contactable via your registered details for the duration of each class, in the event of an emergency.
We may take photographs of students participating in class or any artwork they create in class, and publish them on our website, or for other advertising and publicity purposes. If you do not want your child and artwork to be photographed, we ask that you inform us before the commencement of the term. If at any time you request that we remove any images of your child and artwork, we will endeavour to do so as soon as possible.
We expect everyone to respect teachers, fellow students, artwork, and property. We may remove, suspend, or expel from a class or term anyone exhibiting inappropriate or disruptive behaviour.
UPSTART reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions without prior notice.
